Suplas is an agricultural irrigation brand developed with the long-established engineering, production, and R&D experience of Akplas, operating in the sector since 1989.
Founded in 1989 with a focus on spare parts manufacturing, Akplas began producing clamped sprinkler irrigation pipes in 1995. By 1998, the company had expanded its capabilities and started manufacturing push-fit sprinkler pipes and all related irrigation equipment within its own facilities.
In 2003, enhancements were made to increase product durability, and production of the patented spring-clamp pipe group was initiated. In 2004, round drip irrigation pipes with 2 lt and 4 lt flow rate options were introduced, alongside PE infrastructure irrigation pipes in the 16–400 mm diameter range and AYPE pipes measuring 16–160 mm in diameter being added to the production line.
In 2007, following extensive R&D initiatives in sprinkler irrigation, Akplas became the first company in Türkiye to implement monoblock (one-piece) production of spare parts. In 2008, the brand reached market leadership in sprinkler irrigation systems.
During 2009–2010, 50 mm diameter sprinkler pipes and all spare parts entered mass serial production, while 200 and 225 mm diameter pipes were manufactured on demand, marking Akplas as the first producer in these sizes as well. In the same period, two separate production facilities were launched in Osmaniye, flat drip irrigation pipe production was started, and PVC clean water infrastructure pipes were added to the product portfolio.
Developed with the engineering expertise of Akplas, Suplas has become one of the industry’s strongest agricultural irrigation brands, offering trust-based, durable and high-performance solutions. Suplas was created under Akplas and represents a brand of Akplas that carries its global production vision into the field.
Since its establishment, Akplas has adopted innovation-driven strategies, utilizing advanced technology and R&D not only in manufacturing but also in strengthening its brands.
